An RDWC (Recirculating Deep Water Culture) system is an evolution of DWC that features a control tank connected to all the pots. From this tank, a water pump constantly circulates the nutrient solution, maintaining stable and uniform pH and EC levels throughout the system. This allows for easy water changes and daily parameter monitoring from a single bucket, resulting in a more convenient, efficient, and professional growing experience.
In hydroponics, the water must be enriched with a nutrient solution that provides the 13 essential minerals for plant growth (such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, among others). In the case of hydroponic cannabis cultivation, specific nutrients formulated for each stage of growth are used. Additionally, it is important to adjust the water’s pH: pH+ is added if the level is too low, or pH- if it is too high, thus ensuring healthy, productive, and professional development.

Although distilled water is neutral and free of dissolved solids, at Hipononia Natural we recommend using reverse osmosis water or, if your tap water is soft and of good quality, filtered tap water that has been dechlorinated. If your tap water has a chlorine content exceeding 300 ppm, it’s advisable to use softer water or dilute it with distilled or reverse osmosis water. Whenever you use tap water, filter out the chlorine to maintain a healthy and productive crop.
